A project to create more awareness about the international character of the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands. The wish of the city is to become cultural capital of the Netherlands in 2018. That year still sounds like some sort of science fiction so we figured the project should be something fictional too. That's where teleportation came to mind.

Teleportation is a fictional way of transportation and is a metaphor for the international character of Utrecht. All the people, like students and business people, that come to Utrecht because of this international character. This concept is translated to a movie captured by surveillance cameras and symbols. These symbols are the residue of the teleportation and will become visible in static, stone, wood and iron when they're near a teleportation area. The symbols carry the handcrafted visual look of the 'medieval' city of Utrecht.
